There are natural ways to control pests and rodents. To take preventative measures, you can try these methods.
Pests and rodents don’t flock to the coffee pot in the morning like you do. They don’t delight in waking up to the smell of coffee. In fact, they hate it. And for ants. Coffee is fatal. Try placing already-brewed-coffee grounds around your home. Especially in places where pests and rodents may be tempted to enter your home.
Fruit flies unite. Place apple cider vinegar and chopped apples in a bottle with a funnel-shaped top. Fruit flies are attracted to the smell. They can get in. But they can’t get out.
Fill an 8-oz. spray bottle most of the way with water. Then add 10 drops of basil essential oil. And 10 drops of lemongrass essential oil. Mist in areas where you want to repel dust mites, fleas and lice.
Diatomaceous Earth is especially effective for repelling ants, fleas, roaches and other insects that walk or jump. Sprinkle Diatomaceous Earth liberally, where insects enter your home. After your issue is solved, vacuum up the remaining powder.
Winged pests, like moths, detest cloves. Put little dishes of whole cloves or ground cloves anywhere you see winged creatures. Especially in your kitchen cabinets.
Roaches carry pathogens and diseases that can infect you and your family. Don’t become sick. But stay well.
